Warranty

Carefully follow the test procedures below to confirm the brewer is not working. If it fails and is still within one year of purchase, it is covered under warranty.

Test Procedures

Please carefully read the test procedures below to indicate a non-working brewer. If you have determined your brewer is not working and it is within a year of the purchase date (check for your purchase date), your brewer is covered under warranty otherwise you can choose to send it in for repair.

If it doesn’t seem to brew at all:
  • Replace the fuse (extras were included). Use only a 500 mA (½ amp), 250 V, 5×20 mm fuse. The small black end-cap unscrews to access it.
If the light stays off:
  • The unit may still work (the light can fail independently). Try the spare fuses.
  • Then brew plain tap water. If the water turns cloudy within 10 minutes, the brewer is fine—discard the cloudy water and continue with CS.
  • No cloudiness after trying all fuses + water test = non-working unit. It qualifies for free replacement if still under warranty.
If the light is out but it still brews CS:
  • Mark which switch position is “on” (felt pen or tape). If you want a repair, close this popup and fill out the Warranty Form below.
